FEI STU Open Day

Last week, we were pleased to take part in the Open Day at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology STU, where we presented the activities of the Slovak Chips Competence Centre and met many students, young engineers, and future innovators. Our goal was clear: to show that chips and electronics are not just “components in the background”, but the foundation of technologies shaping the future — from artificial intelligence, electromobility, and energy systems to healthcare and security.

We explained to students that studying electronics and semiconductors opens up a wide range of career paths — from chip research and design to roles in high-tech startups and innovative companies. We also discussed the opportunities to gain top-level education and practical experience directly in Slovakia, preparing graduates for success in the global market.

It was an inspiring day full of discussions, questions, and genuine enthusiasm for technology, confirming the strong interest among young people in technical fields and careers in advanced technologies.

We would like to thank FEI STU for the opportunity to be part of this important event and all the students for their energy and curiosity. Together, we are building a stronger ecosystem for chips and semiconductors in Slovakia.
